WHAT IS CONTEXTUAL INTELLIGENCE (CI)?

New Low Rate of $199!

Contextual intelligence stems from research on leadership behaviors and involves the ability to recognize and diagnose a variety of factors that
influence the current context.

Contextual intelligence is useful because it allows the practitioner to continuously monitor and assimilate multiple streams of feedback. Practicing contextual intelligence allows the individual to intuitively and intentionally assess their environment for subtle and obvious changes then respond to those changes appropriately. Practitioners who can successfully engage in contextually intelligent behavior are able to sustain or gain influence in dynamic and unpredictable environments.

Implementing contextual intelligence requires the ability to simultaneously assess the context from three perspectives as well as demonstrate 12 specific behaviors associated with contextual intelligence. Demonstrating contextual intelligence is an important leadership skill for all settings, roles and positions.
